My Guest Posting Policy

I love the opportunity to share great content from others with my community. I currently don’t have a regularly scheduled day for guest posts. I like to post them as a bonus to my audience. After all, who doesn’t like to get a bonus every now and then? Surprises rock!

If you would like to write a guest post for my blog please adhere to these guidelines. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Content

My blog is about helping people create a clear vision for their life; uncover hidden challenges that are holding them back and inspire them to take action on the things that matter most. Thus the content of guest posts must relate to some aspect of this. Here are some ideas you could write about.

  • Family
  • Money
  • Leadership
  • Life Lessons
  • Relationships
  • Personal Development

While these are the main types of posts I’m looking for, I may be open to others as well. It never hurts to shoot me a message to see if I may be interested.

Guest posts cannot be advertisements or a sponsored post. If you’re interested in advertising or hosting a sponsored post, please contact me via my Contact Page.

Guidelines

Your guest post must be original and not previously published on the internet or in any other form of media.

You agree not to publish the post anywhere else on the web or in print once it’s been published on AskTomSwan.com You can, however, publish a snippet on your blog to let your readers know you’re guest posting on my site.

You accept the responsibility to help promote the post through social media and your blog. I highly recommend this!

Please provide a brief bio to be included with the guest post. Your bio can be 3-4 lines and include up to three links to where readers may find you. These include links to Bio or about me page, your blog, Twitter or Facebook, etc. Absolutely no commercial links.

Posts should be 400-800 words in length.

You agree to interact with my readers once your blog post has been published. This includes responding to comments.

Editing

There may be slight editing of your guest post to correct grammar, spelling, and other corrections. If I have to make substantial changes, I will contact you to get your approval before publishing.

I reserve the right to add a short intro or conclusion to your post to share why I think your post is important. My intro or conclusion will be separated from yours, so the readers will know that they are my thoughts, and not yours.

Submit Your Post

If you’d like to submit a guest post:

Send an email to me. I will give my response within 2 weeks of receiving the submission.

Please make the subject of your email as follows: Guest Post Submission – Your Name

Remember to include your short bio that includes who you are, what you do, and links to where readers can find you.

Disclaimer

I know it takes a lot of work to write a quality blog post. However, I may reject your submission for any reason. While I may provide a reason, I am under no obligation to do so.
